Product Information
Magnesium carbon (MgO-C) brick is made of high melting point alkaline oxide magnesium oxide (melting point 2800℃) and high melting point carbon material difficult to be infiltrated by slag as raw material, adding a variety of non-oxide additives, with carbon binding agent combined with carbon burning composite refractory material.
Magnesium carbon brick is mainly used in the lining of converter, AC arc furnace, DC arc furnace, the slag line and other parts of the ladle.
With the development of steel-making technology this year, the role of steel package is not only steel container, the whole began to think of multi-functional direction development. The use conditions of steel package lining are increasingly strict, it not only suffers the erosion and impact of high temperature steel water drinking slag, but also constantly receives the stirring and rinse of steel, so the steel package lining refractory has become one of the key factors to improve the life of steel package. In recent years, with the development of carbon refractory material, there have been several major changes have taken place, gradually from the previous use of clay brick, high aluminum brick, to now a new aluminum magnesium carbon package material, improve the service life of the steel package. There is no doubt that the development of aluminum magnesium carbon brick brings new ways for steel package lining refractory.
